GASwerk Spring
The goal of the spring assembly is to provide a 'Spring Application Server'.
Spring based application can be embedded in standard JavaEE archives. But there is no clear solution if a spring context should be shared between more than one standard application module or if you want to deploy your Spring context "standalone" (not included in web or ejb package). GASwerk Spring supports direct 'spring module deployment'.
GASwerk spring is application server distribution with spring deployment support. GASwerk spring enables you to:
- hot-deploy spring applications
- deploy spring application without the need of a web archive
- deploy "standalone" Spring applications which only use RMI for communication
- deploy scheduler triggered spring applications
